Dragon Boat seat from IKEA

Once in a while, we come across a cheap alternative from everyday household items that help us in our sport . This idea I really have to give credit to the Singaporean paddlers. They were the ones whom I saw using them this way first. The rubber place mat can be doubled up as a DB seat. It has the advantage of being non-slip(unless we move our butts excessively), easy to maintain, raises our height : ) and is cheap. The ones I have, comes with a hole at the side and is easy to put one end of the 'T' grip handle through. It also comes in various colors. I am not sure what's it called but I understand that it could be 'Panna place mat'. Recently some paddlers cutting the place mat into square pieces to fit the DB seats.
